Visio 2010 crashes on Windows 7: Faulting module name: ntdll.dll

I have a new PC and Visio has been real unstable for me ever since I installed it. None of the Office 2010 patches/service packs seemed to helped. It crashed very so often with little effort my side.

Here is the error log from Event Viewer:

Faulting application name: VISIO.EXE, version: 14.0.6111.5000, time stamp: 0x4e714351
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17725, time stamp: 0x4ec49b8f
Exception code: 0xc0000374
Fault offset: 0x000ce6c3
Faulting process id: 0x2c60
Faulting application start time: 0x01ccfb17ba9fcfae
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\VISIO.EXE
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll
Report Id: 05dc858e-670b-11e1-b9e4-402cf474beb0

A quick google search pointed me to a Bluetooth Addin within Visio that was causing the crashes. What is Bluetooth Addin doing within Visio? Don’t ask, I don’t know. But disabling the addin seems to have fixed the crashes. Thanks Google!

Launch Visio. Go to File>Options>Addins

Click on Go… button and disable the addin

Hope this helps.
