My Office Outlook 2007 has always crashed once in a while. Not a big deal because I am used to it. It crashes, you restart and get going as if business as usual. This morning when Outlook crashed, it automatically launched Office Diagnostics app. I am generally aware that there are some repair tools available for outlook which I had used occasionally on my old PC but I hadn’t heard about office diagnostics.
It turns out that Microsoft Office Diagnostics in the 2007 Microsoft Office system is a series of diagnostic tests that can help you discover why your computer is crashing (closing abnormally). The diagnostic tests can inform you about problems and might identify ways that you can solve other problems.
It applies to : Microsoft Office Access 2007, Excel 2007, InfoPath 2007, OneNote 2007, Outlook 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Project 2007, Publisher 2007, SharePoint Designer 2007, Visio 2007, Word 2007.

Anyway, I let it run and I have some screenshots below:
Looks like Office Diagnostics spotted an issue and made a repair automatically. I hope this is a good thing and hopefully will make it more stable.
If you ever need it and wonder how to launch it, just type “office diagnostics” in Windows Start “Search Program and Files” box.
